As a General Laborer, you will support our mold remediation projects from the ground up. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Performing heavy manual labor, including the demolition and removal of mold-affected building materials.
- Carrying heavy materials, tools, specialized equipment, and debris to and from the work vehicle and jobsite.
- Setting up critical containment zones using plastic sheeting and negative air pressure machines to ensure safety.
- Utilizing proper tools, equipment, and eco-friendly materials to treat and remediate mold.
- Maintaining a pristine, safe, and organized jobsite at all times.
Our team solves environmental problems directly inside residential and commercial properties. Applicants must be completely comfortable working under the following conditions:
- Confined Spaces: Regularly working in tight, restricted areas such as residential attics, crawlspaces, basements, and wall cavities.
- Temperature Extremes: Working in spaces subject to extreme conditions, including intense summer heat or winter cold (especially inside unconditioned attics).
- Physical Stamina: Handling a rigorous physical workload involving heavy lifting, repetitive bending, kneeling, stretching, and intensive manual labor throughout the day.
- Safety & PPE: Strict compliance with health and safety protocols is mandatory. You will be required to properly utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including full or half-face respirators, protective Tyvek suits, gloves, and eye protection.
- No prior mold remediation experience required—we provide complete on-the-job training for the right candidates!
- Prior experience in construction, demolition, roofing, remodeling, restoration, or general labor is highly valued and will be considered for a higher starting wage.
- Strong work ethic, physical endurance, and absolute reliability.
- Ability to work comfortably in confined spaces and adapt to changing weather temperatures.
- Willingness to follow strict safety directions and wear required protective gear daily.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel to various jobsites.
- Able to pass a background screening with no instances of domestic abuse, theft, or other felonies.
