Dock Coordinator

Greenwood, IN. Compensation: $28.50 - $29.00/hour.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM EST. Ability to work holidays and weekends per business needs.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the loading and unloading of goods at the dock
- Run shipping and receiving requirements daily
- Coordinate truck traffic & execute daily dock schedules for both inbound and outbound loads
- Maximize dock door utilization and line load opportunities
- Check trucks in/out of Das Monitor/PINC/Freight Roll and maintain yard management accuracy within PINC
- Post orders in the SAP system
- Reconcile expected goods
- Upload hard copies to the freight roll if necessary
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and report inventory management failures along with resolving discrepancies
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the warehouse, dock office, and yard
- Ensure daily warehouse Key Performance Indicators are met and the dock office is at or above the 90% 5s standard
- Receipt of inbounds/returns within 24 hours of arrival
- Complete product traceability and withdrawal reports
- Maintain "First Expired First Out"
- Complete order exceptions as needed
- Support production with purchase order creation as needed
- Ability to operate a forklift safely
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- 2-3 years of inventory/warehouse experience preferred
- Customer service and communication skills
- Proficient computer skills including but not limited to:
Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook - SAP knowledge is a plus
- Organizational skills with the ability to continuously handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Prior forklift and yard truck experience preferred
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Must be flexible in working hours – overtime, vacation coverage, and off-shifts
- Candidates must possess strong English language skills to effectively communicate with customers and provide exceptional service
