Job Description

- Perform, process environmental and quality system audits to ensure compliance with specifications and documented procedures.
- Act as the lead auditor: plan, schedule, conduct meetings and document results.
- Provide training and advising to work areas on statistical techniques and tools for continuous improvement to help maintain ISO certifications in quality and environmental systems.
- Establish standards to measure process performance and improvement.
- Provide expertise on the use of various specialties related to business such as process analysis, flowcharting and strategic planning.
- Coordinate corrective action systems used throughout the company to ensure timely root cause analysis and effective corrective/preventive action.
- Respond to customer requests for quality information.
- Perform analysis of quality and environmental systems for input to executive management review and as a basis for improvement.
- Maintain a detailed knowledge of the structure and workings of the Milwaukee Quality and Environmental Systems and certifying agency requirements.
- Maintain a high level of expertise in the ISO
14000 and 9000 series of standards and their interpretations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Self‑motivated and able to work with basic direction.
- Solid analytical and technical skills.
- Willingness to work with hands.
