Staff Accountant

We are seeking a full-time Staff Accountant with 3–5 years of accounting experience and strong Net Suite ERP skills. This role supports daily accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, general ledger upkeep, and month-end close activities. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position plays a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining smooth financial processes across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the preparation and maintenance of internal and external financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Account Principles (GAAP)
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including accounts reconciliation and financial analysis
• Maintains and balances an automated consolidation system by inputting data in Net Suite ERP.
• Analyzes information and options by developing spreadsheet reports.
• Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files as well as reconciling accounts.
• Analyze manufacturing processes and cost structures to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
• Prepare detailed cost reports and variance analysis for various departments.
• Collaborate with production and purchasing teams to monitor inventory costs and oversee the valuation of inventory.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, providing insights into cost trends and support for decision‑making.
• Recommend corrective actions and improvements based on data analysis.
• Support financial closing processes, including month‑end and year‑end reporting. Participate in cross‑functional projects to optimize resource allocation and cost management strategies.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, bachelor’s degree in accounting is preferred
• 3-5 years’ experience with general and cost accounting
• Experience with Net Suite ERP
