Senior Accountant

We are seeking a professional Senior Accountant to join a growing team in Greenwood, SC
. This is a full time, permanent/direct hire position with full benefits.

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including cash and other critical accounts
• Prepare, review, and post journal entries accurately and timely
• Calculate and record revenue, accruals, and other adjusting entries
• Process and reconcile daily banking activity
• Monitor fund and grant activity, balances, and reporting requirements
• Review general ledger transactions and investigate discrepancies
• Support month-end and year-end close activities to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Assist with oversight of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions as needed
• Ensure transactions are recorded in the correct accounting periods and funding categories
• Prepare reconciliations and documentation to support internal and external audits
• Contribute to process improvements that enhance the efficiency and accuracy of accounting operations

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of Staff Accountant or Senior Accountant experience
• Strong general ledger accounting and account reconciliation experience
• Experience preparing journal entries, accruals, and financial reporting support
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and sense of urgency
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines consistently
• Experience with nonprofit, fund accounting, grant accounting, public accounting, or corporate accounting environments is a plus

  -4:30pm OR 8:30 am-5:00pm)
