Job Responsibilities
Under general supervision, performs skilled work in the installation, maintenance, and repair of boilers, plumbing fixtures, utilities, drains, sprinklers, and air, gas, water, and waste disposal piping systems. Operates and maintains gas-fired hot water boilers to ensure safe, reliable, and code-compliant operation. Functions in a non-lead, developmental plumbing role within the plumbing unit.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent. Basic knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, materials, and safety practices or the ability to learn through training and experience. Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to perform manual labor and work in a team environment. A valid driver's license and safe driving history are required. Must have strong skills in providing excellent customer service and demonstrate strong ethics.
Additional Comments
Basic knowledge of plumbing installation, repair methods, and materials. An understanding of safety procedures and plumbing codes. Ability to use standard plumbing tools. Skill in problem solving and critical thinking. Ability to communicate clearly and provide good customer service. Ability to maintain accurate work records.
