As a Strategic Sourcing Manager at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in driving procurement strategy and supplier relationships to optimize costs, quality, and delivery performance. You will develop and implement sourcing strategies, manage supplier selection and negotiations, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The role is based in Tempe, AZ, or one of the Aero locations, with a hybrid work schedule.
You will report directly to the Director of Strategic Sourcing.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize costs, quality, and delivery performance.
- Conduct market research and supplier evaluations to identify strategic suppliers and onboard them.
- Lead supplier negotiations and contract management to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
- Extensive experience (6+ years) in digital transformation, sourcing/procurement, IT enhancements or leading IT projects, and negotiations.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Excel.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management.
- Experience developing sourcing strategies and managing supplier relationships.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management.
- Master's degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management.
- Professional certifications in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM).
- Experience in a global sourcing environment and managing suppliers across different regions.
- Demonstrated ability to drive cost savings and process improvements.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
