ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES(Duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following):

Partner with Mortgage Operations leaders and subject matter experts to understand processes supporting the mortgage loan lifecycle

Analyze operational workflows to identify manual, repetitive, or time-intensive activities that may benefit from AI or automation

Identify bottlenecks, handoff challenges, and opportunities to improve efficiency across operational teams

Document current-state processes and help design improved future-state workflows incorporating AI and automation

Translate operational challenges into structured requirements and solutions in partnership with Business Operations, Technology, Data, and other teams

Assist with the design, testing, implementation, and scaling of AI and automation solutions across Mortgage Operations Develop reporting, dashboards, or tracking tools that provide visibility into operational performance and improvement opportunities

Gather feedback and monitor implemented solutions to identify enhancements and additional automation opportunities

Help measure the impact of solutions, including improvements in efficiency, turnaround time, capacity, and reduction in manual effort

Manage multiple AI and automation initiatives while coordinating effectively across business and technical stakeholders REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field0–2 years of professional experience in business operations, business analysis, process improvement, data analytics, financial services, technology, or a related area Demonstrated interest in AI, automation, or using technology to improve business processes

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex workflows and identify inefficiencies

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with operational data and business metrics

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail

Proactive, curious mindset with a willingness to learn mortgage operations and emerging AI capabilitiesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Previous internship or professional experience within mortgage lending, banking, financial services, fintech, operations, or technology

Exposure to mortgage origination, loan processing, underwriting, credit/risk operations, or related functions

Experience with process mapping, requirements gathering, workflow analysis, or continuous improvement

Familiarity with AI tools, generative AI, prompt engineering, automation platforms, or business intelligence tools

The expected salary range for this position is between:$72,100.00 - $87,700.00

The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
