Calvary Christian Preschool is a faith-based center that is a part of Calvary Christian School. We are a ministry of Calvary Baptist Church
. We place a high priority on promoting literacy, teaching social-emotional skills, building character, and demonstrating Christ’s love through word and action. Because families are the child’s first and most important educator, we strive to partner with families as we invest in the lives of children. • Schedule and implement lessons / activities for your class
• Be organized and create a positive learning environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of classrooms
• Ensure a safe structured learning environment.
• Maintain accurate tracking of children following DSS Ratios
• Complete ongoing training each year in order to meet all requirements for DSS

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a High School Diploma.
• Six months experience as a teacher/caregiver in a DSS regulated facility or a degree in early childhood, child development, or a related field is preferred, but training will be provided as needed.
• Strong use of technology in order to communicate with parents/other staff and log children in/out or transfer between classrooms.
• Must be a professing Christian with a Biblically sound salvation experience that is clearly communicated and be active in a local Bible‑believing church.
• Must exhibit a Christ‑like servant attitude.
• Must maintain a personal appearance that is a Christian role model of cleanliness, modesty, and in agreement with ministry policy.
• Ability to work well in a team environment to provide the best care possible.
• Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm manner.
• Maintain confidentiality of personnel and student matters.

CPR/First‑Aid Certifications are a plus, but training for certifications will be provided if necessary.
