One Life is an established Christian credit-bearing Gap Year with several sites. This position is for our Sakanaga Site in Marietta, South Carolina. One Life is a deeply impactful discipleship gap year drawing on experiential education in the midst of intentional community. Every year our site staff are struck by the impact of this program on the lives of our students- particularly their personal and faith formation.
The Site Director’s primary responsibility is leading and facilitating mentorship of 25-35 gap year students. One Life students live in a gospel-centered community where they grow in faith and biblical knowledge (developing a Christian worldview), learn practical life skills, travel domestically and internationally, and earn up to 30 college credits.
The Site Director will need to be proactive and a self-starter. He or she will have a deep desire to see students grow in their relationship with God and knowledge of God’s Word. Terms associated with a Site Director include leader, shepherd, teacher, visionary, passionate, organized, and a team player.
A Site Director is a crucial position that supports the mission and vision of One Life through Shepherding & Discipleship, Program Planning & Execution, as well as Leading & Building Site Staff Team & Partner Relationships and One Life, One Team. The Site Director is a full‑time position reporting to the Program Director.
