Job Overview
As Course Manager, you’ll lead the delivery of The King’s Trust Team Programme – a 12‑week experience that helps unemployed young people aged 16–25 build confidence, skills, and motivation to move into work, education, or training. You’ll oversee recruitment, planning, delivery, and learner support across three cohorts each year, with each programme supporting around 15 young people through team building, outdoor activities, employability workshops, mock interviews, and a team challenge.
The role involves some evening and residential commitments.
- Recruit, mentor, and support young people through the programme.
- Plan and lead programme delivery, ensuring high‑quality outcomes.
- Provide pastoral care and maintain learner progress records.
- Collaborate with partners and maintain compliance with King’s Trust and college safeguarding standards.
- Write end‑of‑programme reports and support enrichment activities.
- Experience working with young people in an educational, youth work, coaching, or mentoring context.
- Strong leadership, communication and facilitation skills.
- Ability to inspire, motivate and support diverse groups of young people.
- Excellent organisational and administrative abilities.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusion.
- Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or willingness to obtain within 12 months).
- Experience delivering personal development or employability programmes.
- Experience of community engagement or partnership building.
