Responsibilities
- Teaches assigned classes in Criminal Justice by providing systematically planned and delivered instruction; designs and develops curriculum, advises students and evaluates performance.
- Plans and implements classroom instruction.
- Reviews, evaluates, and revises course objectives, materials and course syllabi with other faculty members as needed.
- Serves as academic advisor to students and participates in recruitment and retention activities.
- Serves on institutional teams as assigned.
- Participates in professional development activities as per Individual Professional Development Plan.
- Maintains records of student academic progress and attendance, evaluates level of achievement, communicates with students, and assigns grades.
Master's degree in Criminal Justice or a Master's Degree with 18 graduate hours in Criminal Justice.
Previous Law Enforcement experience is preferred.
