Pay range: $14-$19 per hour DOE.

We are seeking a passionate Floater Teacher to join our team, who is committed to helping children learn, play, grow, and thrive and provide the tools they need to succeed academically and emotionally. • Support various classrooms as needed and partner with other teachers.
• Establishing a warm, welcoming, and secure space where children feel safe and loved.
• Planning and implementing activities that stimulate sensory, motor, cognitive, and social development appropriate for children.
• Handling daily care routines such as feeding, diapering, and ensuring proper sleep schedules.
• Observing and tracking each children's developmental progress, including physical, emotional, and cognitive milestones.
• Keeping parents informed about their children's daily activities, latest adventures and achievements, development, and any concerns. Regularly updating them through reports or meetings.
• Adhering to health and safety regulations to provide a safe environment, including childproofing areas and managing any potential hazards.
• Encouraging positive social interactions and helping children learn to engage with others in a healthy, constructive manner.
• Providing comfort and reassurance, and helping children develop secure attachments by being responsive to their needs.
• Working as part of a team with other staff members to ensure a consistent and high-quality care environment.
• Ensuring that the environment, toys, and equipment are clean and hygienic to prevent illness and ensure a healthy setting.
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in early childhood education and care.

• Have a genuine passion for the education and care of children?
• Have one year of professional teaching experience (preferred) or six months of professional teaching experience (required)?
• Have an associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree (preferred) or High school diploma/GED (required)?
