• Provide specialized instruction to students receiving special education services
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies based on student learning needs
• Assess student progress and maintain accurate documentation and records
• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
• Implement accommodations, modifications, and behavioral support plans as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Support students' academic, social, emotional, and functional development
• Utilize data-driven practices to improve student outcomes
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local special education regulations

• Bachelor's Degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field
• Active South Carolina Special Education Teaching License or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs
• Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to effectively support students with a variety of disabilities and learning needs

• Master's Degree in Special Education or related field
• Previous school-based special education teaching experience
• Experience working with students with autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, emotional disabilities, or multiple disabilities
• Knowledge of behavior intervention strategies and progress monitoring tools
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and families
• Familiarity with educational technology and classroom accommodations
