We are seeking a technically strong Engineering Project Manager with solid experience in automotive plastic part development and industrialization.

• Lead product design & industrialization (molds, checking fixtures, validation equipment) aligned with Quality, Cost & Timing targets
• Act as main technical interface with OEM customers
• Define product specifications including GD&T and ensure DFM compliance
• Manage tooling development, validation activities (functional, geometric, cosmetic) and tuning phases
• Lead cross-functional technical teams (without direct line authority)
• Manage engineering planning, reviews, scope changes & structured reporting
• Support launch readiness and plant coordination
• Track engineering budget (hours, cost, travel) and resource allocation
• Participate in feasibility milestones & continuous improvement initiatives

• 5+ years in automotive plastic part design & development
• Solid knowledge of GD&T, part geometry & measurement principles
• Experience with checking fixtures & plastic validation/testing
• Experience working directly with OEMs
• Strong project planning, coordination & leadership skills
• Willingness to travel within the USA and internationally (including Mexico).

Ideal candidate is technically hands-on, structured, analytical, and comfortable operating in cross-functional and plant environments.
