Key Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Injection & Tooling Development Engineer with strong hands‑on expertise in automotive injection molding and thermoplastic materials.

  • Lead injection tool and process tuning from tool validation to customer approval
  • Act as main technical interface with toolmakers throughout project lifecycle
  • Manage injection trials, tuning loops, and process optimization
  • Ensure cycle time and scrap targets are achieved
  • Support tooling validation, tuning, and factory tool transfer
  • Participate in injection tool concept validation and system definition
  • Coordinate with purchasing, production, quality, and project teams
  • Support customer validation activities (PPAP, PVS)
  • Maintain technical databases (materials, shrinkage, trial results)
  • Drive continuous improvement and capture lessons learned
Required Experience
  • 4–6 years of injection molding process engineering experience (automotive preferred)
  • Deep knowledge of thermoplastic resins:
    PP, PPGF, ABS, ABS-PC
  • Strong understanding of rheology and material behavior during injection
  • Experience managing tooling validation and tuning loops
  • Exposure to factory tool transfer and supplier coordination
  • Experience working with multiple injection molding machine brands
Ideal Profile
  • Technically hands‑on and analytical
  • Comfortable leading technical meetings and supplier discussions
  • Structured, autonomous, and results‑driven (Quality / Cost / Timing focus)
  • Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills
Nice to Have
  • Experience with glass fiber reinforced materials
  • Experience in scrap reduction & cycle time optimization
  • Exposure to TCRD / FAC action tracking
  • Participation in PPAP / PVS validation
