Main Missions- Lead problem‑solving activities both internally and with customers, ensuring fast, effective resolution of quality issues.
- Support new product launches and help ensure manufacturing readiness from a quality perspective.
- Maintain strong process control
, ensuring compliance with standards and consistency in production. - Drive continuous improvement
, contributing to preventive actions and long‑term operational excellence.
Quality Problem Solving
- Ensure production teams apply the right quality tools
, providing training, coaching, and on‑floor leadership. - Define and release rework instructions
, ensuring they are correctly implemented. - Create Problem Alerts for critical issues.
- Participate in customer rejection analyses, including 0km and warranty reviews
. - Establish and manage quality walls when required, including training internal or third‑party inspectors.
- Conduct regular customer visits to build strong, long‑term relationships.
- Apply and coach the use of 8D
, QRCM
, and maintain Quality Fast Response Boards and FMEAs
.
- Collaborate on the development of PFMEAs and Control Plans for new products.
- Support the creation of limit samples and participate in poka‑yoke definition.
- Organize and deliver training on limit samples and Problem Alerts to operators and area leaders.
- Lead or support PPAP submissions and Run@Rate activities.
- Support manufacturing readiness activities with MPM.
- Contribute to the development of Standard Work (SPS, SWI) with Manufacturing Engineering, CI, and HSE.
- Audit all poka‑yokes to ensure they are tested at each shift start.
- Verify adherence to all control plan steps and escalate any non‑conformance.
- Maintain, update, and monitor key quality indicators
. - Participate in daily production scrap reviews.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure records are fully updated and archived.
- Participate in regular layered audits and 5S audits through Quality Technicians.
- Contribute to the Quality Improvement Roadmap
. - Participate in or lead working groups based on customer, production, or plant needs.
- Support the implementation of preventive actions to avoid recurring issues.
- Contribute to plant training activities using AE University modules.
- Support Lessons Learned (LL),
Design for Quality (DFQ), and plant QRCM activities.
- Ensure all technicians follow their established training pathways.
- Promote and maintain a strong Quality Mindset across the team and plant.
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering
- Basic training in internal and external quality methodologies
. - Knowledge of customer‑specific requirements relevant to the project.
- Solid understanding of FMEA, PPAP, and APQP deliverables
. - Strong problem‑solving skills and proficiency in AIAG Core Tools
. - Demonstrates strong ethical and professional behavior in customer interactions.
