Job SummaryThe Electrical Project Manager will oversee commercial and industrial electrical construction projects from pre‑construction through closeout, managing planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and execution to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and in accordance with quality standards.
Responsibilities- Manage electrical construction projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and forecasting reports.
- Review electrical drawings, specifications, and contract documents and provide technical guidance as needed.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to maintain project objectives.
- Conduct jobsite visits to verify safety compliance, quality standards, and project performance.
- Prepare and manage project documentation, including change orders, billing, RFIs, submittals, and closeout materials.
- Support business development efforts by maintaining strong client relationships and identifying opportunities for future work.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable electrical codes and regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered.
- Proven experience managing commercial and industrial electrical construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, codes, and industry standards.
- Experience with project scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and procurement processes.
- Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
- Must be able to pass a pre‑employment background check and drug screening.
