Mechanical Engineer, Process Engineer
Our client is seeking a Mechanical Engineer – Industrial Utilities to support complex industrial, manufacturing, chemical, and clean-room projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Engineer who enjoys leading design efforts for sophisticated industrial facilities and seeing projects through engineering, construction, and commissioning.
Please Note: This isnot a traditional commercial HVAC role. We're looking for someone with strong experience designing and coordinating industrial mechanical utility systems within manufacturing, chemical, clean-room, or similarly complex environments.
What You'll Do- Lead mechanical design efforts for industrial and manufacturing projects
- Design and coordinate complex mechanical utility systems across multiple disciplines
- Provide technical leadership to engineers, designers, and drafters
- Review equipment specifications, vendor submittals, and engineering calculations
- Support construction, field activities, commissioning, and project startup
- Collaborate directly with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal project teams
- HVAC
- Plumbing
- Chilled water and cooling towers
- Steam and condensate systems
- Compressed air systems
- Natural gas
- Industrial water systems
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Active PE license required
- Industrial mechanical engineering/design experience within an A/E or consulting environment
- Experience supporting manufacturing, chemical, clean-room, or other industrial facilities
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit
- Experience with Navisworks or similar coordination software
- Strong understanding of applicable mechanical engineering codes and standards
- Must be authorized to perform work within the U.S.
