Role Overview
Lead, Finance - Commercial is the primary finance partner for assigned product and channel lines within Chamberlain Group’s commercial finance organization. The role delivers financial analysis, planning and decision support that drives product line performance.
Responsibilities- Own financial planning and analysis for assigned product and channel lines.
- Lead annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with planning calendar timelines.
- Deliver financial decision support, analyzing volume, price/mix, promotions, programs, in‑market performance and key metrics.
- Lead New Product Development financial modeling and analysis for assigned product line projects.
- Own accuracy and integrity of financial results, ensuring compliance with policies, controls, and accurate accruals.
- Build and maintain standardized periodic reporting; define consistent business and financial metrics.
- Provide financial insights for strategic planning and cross‑functional reviews.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities, developing analytically supported recommendations.
- Advise commercial finance team on best practices, analytical frameworks, and process improvements.
- Education/
Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field. - Experience:
5+ years in financial analysis supporting business units in a consumer durable or manufacturing environment. Experience owning budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for product lines. - Experience with New Product Development financial modeling and analysis.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and financial planning software.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Master’s degree, CMA or CPA.
- Experience with SAP and Business Planning and Consolidations (BPC).
- Knowledge of ERP systems and financial planning software tools.
Pay range: $ – $. Base pay is supplemented with a comprehensive benefits package, 401(k) contribution, and short‑term incentive plan as applicable.
