ESSENTIAL DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and monitor production schedules for manufacturing & outside vendors
- Responsible for plan and schedules workflow for each operation according to manufacturing sequences
- Expedite operations that delay schedules and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions
- Will need to prepare and analyze production reports
- Minimize inventory investment to meet customer service expectations
- Continuously monitor work order instructions to improve processes
- Issue requisitions of material, equipment, and supplies needed to maintain and produce products
- Evaluate local suppliers’ performance to ensure that inventories are maintained, and deliveries are timely
- Comply with the purchasing department budgets
- Review purchase order claims and contracts and report findings to Corporate Procurement Leadership
- Work with Corporate Procurement Leadership to assess market demands/conditions to assure stability of the supply chain
- Adhere to Corporate Purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures
- Fully understand and execute Quality System Requirements
- Review and evaluate specifications for issuing material and supplies
- Knowledge of and competency with Microsoft Office applications
- Must have excellent prioritization skills
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, & work well in a fast-paced environment
- Good written and verbal communication skills and strong understanding of information ordering
- Strong analytical skills and material knowledge
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities
- Understanding financial impacts of the Supply Chain
- Minimum two (2) years of supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations, or Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience
- Primarily sedentary work involving prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer
- Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, mouse use, and handling documents
- Visual acuity required to read computer screens, printed materials, and digital devices
- Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching within the office environment
- Occasional lifting or carrying of light items such as files, office supplies, or a laptop (typically up to 10–20 pounds)
- Regular communication through speaking and hearing in person, by phone, and during virtual meetings
