Supply Chain Specialist

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and monitor production schedules for manufacturing & outside vendors
• Responsible for plan and schedules workflow for each operation according to manufacturing sequences
• Expedite operations that delay schedules and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions
• Will need to prepare and analyze production reports
• Minimize inventory investment to meet customer service expectations
• Continuously monitor work order instructions to improve processes
• Issue requisitions of material, equipment, and supplies needed to maintain and produce products
• Evaluate local suppliers’ performance to ensure that inventories are maintained, and deliveries are timely
• Comply with the purchasing department budgets
• Review purchase order claims and contracts and report findings to Corporate Procurement Leadership
• Work with Corporate Procurement Leadership to assess market demands/conditions to assure stability of the supply chain
• Adhere to Corporate Purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures
• Fully understand and execute Quality System Requirements
• Review and evaluate specifications for issuing material and supplies

• Knowledge of and competency with Microsoft Office applications
• Must have excellent prioritization skills
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, & work well in a fast-paced environment
• Good written and verbal communication skills and strong understanding of information ordering
• Strong analytical skills and material knowledge
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities
• Understanding financial impacts of the Supply Chain

• Minimum two (2) years of supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations, or Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience

• Primarily sedentary work involving prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer
• Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, mouse use, and handling documents
• Visual acuity required to read computer screens, printed materials, and digital devices
• Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching within the office environment
• Occasional lifting or carrying of light items such as files, office supplies, or a laptop (typically up to 10–20 pounds)
• Regular communication through speaking and hearing in person, by phone, and during virtual meetings
