Job Summary
Analyst will assist the Materials Planning Department by generating real‑time reporting for EDI, MRP, and KPIs to the group. Will also assist in duties such as Supplier Reconciliations, Aged Inventory Analysis, Freight Analysis, Container Management, and other duties.
Duties and Responsibilities- Generate EDI reports from SAP, with customer demand and distribute analysis reports.
- Participate in MRP/SAP Cleanup activities.
- Track and report out department KPIs.
- Review aged inventory at sub‑suppliers, push disposition, and generate aged inventory reports.
- Monitor and report receipts, production, scrap, and other inventory‑related data to maintain accurate inventory levels of production material.
- Perform supplier reconciliations in SAP.
- Track and control container management for sub‑suppliers.
- Analyze cycle count adjustments to ensure accurate inventory accountability and make recommendations to the Materials Manager.
- Handle freight needs for the department (Uber Freight) – maintain dedicated lanes and analyze premium freight.
- Work with Finance to close out open invoices that may have discrepancies.
- Create and maintain service demand analysis.
- Support team functions by:
- Kaizen submittal and implementation.
- Cross‑training with others.
- Back filling other materials positions as needed.
- Problem solving.
- Supporting materials metrics and meeting materials needs.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree or 3–5 years manufacturing/planning experience.
- SAP experience.
- Excellent Excel and reporting experience.
- Follow standardized work instructions.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent computer efficiency.
- Positive motivating communication/people skills.
- Good vision and hearing.
- Work a flexible schedule.
- Critical thinking.
- Handle the stress of a fast‑paced environment.
