Assistant Manager – Greer, SC
Responsible for overseeing last‑mile delivery operations, including vendor relations, shipping discrepancy follow‑up, truck dispatch, in‑home delivery, and maintenance of operating reports. Leads a team of hourly on‑site staff and Customer Service Representatives.
Essential Functions- Develop and maintain relations with vendors, stores, independent contractors.
- Ensure follow up on shipping discrepancies, damaged goods, and in‑home damage claims.
- Dispatch trucks using GPS technology.
- Oversee in‑home delivery for customers.
- Maintain monthly operating reports that include statistics and customer‑service scores.
- Oversee Customer Service Representatives and Routers.
- Ensure attendance and punctuality of staff.
- Directly supervise hourly on‑site staff in data entry, customer service, order processing and delivery.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
- Provide training, planning, assignment, direction, reward and resolution of employee complaints and problems.

- 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain or related field.
