Assistant Manager- Last Mile

Assistant Manager – Greer, SC

Responsible for overseeing last‑mile delivery operations, including vendor relations, shipping discrepancy follow‑up, truck dispatch, in‑home delivery, and maintenance of operating reports. Leads a team of hourly on‑site staff and Customer Service Representatives.

• Develop and maintain relations with vendors, stores, independent contractors.
• Ensure follow up on shipping discrepancies, damaged goods, and in‑home damage claims.
• Dispatch trucks using GPS technology.
• Oversee in‑home delivery for customers.
• Maintain monthly operating reports that include statistics and customer‑service scores.
• Oversee Customer Service Representatives and Routers.
• Ensure attendance and punctuality of staff.
• Directly supervise hourly on‑site staff in data entry, customer service, order processing and delivery.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
• Provide training, planning, assignment, direction, reward and resolution of employee complaints and problems.

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain or related field.
