Route Supervisor

This position is based in Greer, South Carolina
, supporting BMW's transportation network
. The operation plays a critical role in coordinating daily inbound and outbound freight movements, managing driver activity, supporting material flow, and ensuring seamless communication between BMW, drivers, and operational leadership.

Shift Available

1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM

• Serve as the primary liaison between BMW, drivers, dispatch teams, and operational leadership
• Communicate customer requirements, service updates, and operational changes to all relevant stakeholders
• Support daily transportation operations by assisting with route execution, freight movement, and service performance
• Monitor inbound and outbound shipments and proactively communicate delays, service concerns, or operational issues
• Assist with driver onboarding, training, scheduling, attendance tracking, and workforce support activities
• Support employee engagement, coaching, and day-to-day communication with drivers and operational personnel
• Investigate and help resolve transportation, service, and customer-related concerns
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and operational documentation
• Coordinate communication between BMW representatives and internal teams to ensure customer expectations are achieved
• Track operational performance metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist leadership with staffing needs, workforce planning, and special projects
• Promote a positive, safety-focused, and customer-driven work environment

• Bachelor's degree preferred;
  Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, Business, Human Resources, or related field is a plus
• Previous experience in transportation, logistics, customer service, operations, employee relations, recruiting, or workforce support preferred
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work effectively with customers, drivers, and leadership teams
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced operational environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Leadership mindset with the ability to coach, support, and influence others
• Experience working with operational metrics, KPIs, and reporting is a plus
