Area Installation Specialist
Responsible for recruitment, onboarding, training, and utilization metrics for Installers in a designated geographic area. The role ensures customer expectations are met while fostering and maintaining critical relationships with Lowe’s Home Improvement.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Meet company-established Key Performance Indicators.
- Ensure superior customer satisfaction scores.
- Understand the installation contractor marketplace for a defined area, including knowledge of key competitors, installer base, and local pricing structure.
- Recruit, onboard, and train Installers for an assigned geographical area.
- Negotiate installer cost structure based on marketplace rates and Service Pros Installation Group cost model.
- Utilize data, reporting, and key performance indicators to ensure gross profit margins and customer metrics are met.
- Conduct and analyze surveys of applicants and hiring managers to select efficient recruiting and hiring methods.
- Perform targeted store visits at the direction of Area Installation Manager or Regional Operations Manager to evaluate and support installer/Lowe’s relationships.
- In partnership with the workroom, develop and implement installer retention and appreciation plans.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Education and/or Experience – High school diploma or GED; 3‑5 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination.
- Experience must involve customer service management.
- Language Skills – Read, comprehend, write, and proofread simple instructions and documents.
- Mathematical Skills – Perform basic arithmetic and algebraic calculations.
- Leadership Ability – Motivate teams and communicate vision and strategy effectively.
- Reasoning Ability – Apply common sense and solve problems with concrete variables.
- Computer Skills – Use workstation equipment, databases, spreadsheets, email, and word processing software.
- Communication Skills – Communicate orally and in writing in English.
- Vision – View documents and multiple screens accurately, read handwritten documents, and drive.
- Drive Eligibility – Must be able to drive a vehicle and meet company insurance requirements.
- Road Warrior – Up to 75% travel.
