Job Summary
:
The role of the Manager of Planning to lead, promote and supervise the County’s comprehensive land use and neighborhood planning processes with the goal of guiding thoughtful growth and development in the County. This role guides the development and implementation of sub-areas plans, corridor studies, master plans, feasibility studies as well as zoning ordinance and land development regulation text amendments.
The Manager of Planning performs related professional, administrative and supervisory work such as managing daily operations while leading a team of support staff, setting goals, and overseeing budgets. This position works within broad policy and organizational guidelines and does independent planning and implementation, reporting progress of major activities to the Director of Community Planning and Development.
Salary Range: $79,779.43
