Asphalt Plant Operator

Rogers Group is currently seeking an Loader Operator supporting Greer, SC. This position reports to the Plant Manager. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and production excellence.

Job Details:

* Wages start at $21.00 per hour+ depending on experience. Starting wage will be higher with verifiable experience.

* Fulltime/Permanent

* Night/Weekend work may be required

* Overtime available

Job Responsibilities:

* Conduct daily equipment inspections and complete required documentation

* Maintain proper feed to plant and manage stockpiles

* Assist with plant setup, tear down, and relocation as needed

* Promote a team atmosphere at location and across the division

* Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations

* May be called upon at the discretion of Managers to perform other duties

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent preferred

* Valid Driver's License with clean MVR required

* Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, dust, etc.).

* Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods of time throughout the workday.

* Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull materials or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

* Team player attitude

* Ability to perform routine maintenance and minor mechanical repairs

* Uncompromising focus on safety excellence

* Ability to lift 50 pounds continuously throughout the day

* Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

* Basic math and communication skills

* Flexible schedule (split shifts/possible Saturday shifts)

* Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work on a team

* Self-motivated and able to work without constant supervision

* Operate equipment and company vehicles in a responsible and safe manner

* Perform daily housekeeping operations and maintain a clean and organized work environment
