Off-Shift Production Supervisor (3rd Shift)
Pay: $77,500-$80,500/year, DOE

The Role
Ultrafab is seeking a reliable and results-driven Off-Shift Production Supervisor (3rd Shift) to lead our overnight manufacturing operations. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role is critical to maintaining productivity, safety, and quality during non-standard hours. You will supervise production activities through our TGLs and TDSs, mentor your team, and resolve issues as they arise.
Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred to better support our diverse workforce.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee efficient use of labor, materials, and resources during the off shift.
- Lead, coach, and develop shift leads (TGLs and TDSs) to ensure strong leadership coverage.
- Monitor and improve labor productivity and shift performance metrics.
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline to support shift continuity and coverage.
- Ensure consistent communication with other shifts during pass-downs and handovers.
- Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Participate in operational meetings and drive follow-up actions to completion.
- Ensure product quality meets defined standards and troubleshoot production issues.
- Support and contribute to cost reduction, efficiency, and employee development initiatives.
- Coordinate shift-specific training programs and monitor progress toward development goals.
- Foster a collaborative environment and coordinate effectively with cross-functional departments.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment (off-shift experience preferred).
- A degree in a technical or business discipline is preferred.
- Proven success in balancing production targets with employee engagement.
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles; 1+ year in a lean environment required.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision‑making skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy.
- Comfortable with a hands‑on, floor-based leadership style.
- Able to work independently and make sound decisions with limited on‑site support.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred to support team communication needs.
- Must be able to stand, use hands, reach, and communicate effectively throughout the shift.
- Occasional lifting/movement of up to 45 pounds.
- Loud manufacturing environment: must be able to use eye and hearing protection as required.
