Pipefitter is responsible for installing, fabricating, and assembling piping systems according to engineered drawings and project specifications. This role supports onsite operations by performing accurate measurements, fitting, welding, and fabrication across a variety of materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, PVC, CPVC, copper, and threading piping systems. Pipefitter ensures all work meets safety, quality, and performance standards while supporting efficient project execution at the site.

• Demonstrates the values and business principles of Leadec.

• Reads tape measures (metric and standard).
• Fabricates correctly from engineered drawings.
• Takes precise field measurements.
• Performs welding and/or fabrication of Carbon Steel piping, Stainless Steel piping, PVC piping, CPVC piping, copper piping, and screw pipe systems.
• Performs welding, soldering, threading, or other fabrication techniques as required by project specifications.
• Inspects completed work to ensure compliance with safety codes, quality standards, and project specifications.
• Safely operates hand tools, power tools, and equipment required for pipe fabrication and installation.
• Collaborates with supervisors, engineers, and team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely project completion.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area and adheres to all workplace safety and PPE requirements.
• Adheres to and supports all EHS and Quality objectives, in accordance with ISO 14001, 45001 and 9001 respectively.
• All other duties as assigned by Leadec manager.

• 3+ years of pipe fitting experience
• Must have their own hand tools
• Must be able to read tape measure (metric and standard)
• Must be able to fabricate correctly from engineered drawings
• Must be able to take precise field measurements
• Must be able to perform welding and/or fabrication of Carbon Steel piping, Stainless Steel piping, PVC piping, CPVC piping, copper piping, and screw pipe systems

• Required to talk and/or hear in an industrial setting (noise level is high). Frequently required to stand and walk on concrete surfaces for 4 - 12 hours. Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; lift; climb or balance; kneel, crawl, stoop, or crouch.
• Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Work is performed in an industrial-manufacturing environment with occasional time spent working on a computer or at a desk.
