Opsource Staffing has partnered with a manufacturing company located in Greer, SC.
*** MUST BE ABLE TO BE BADGED FOR BMW, AS THIS POSITION IS LOCATED ON THE BMW CAMPUS. THE JOB IS NOT WITH BMW, BUT IT IS ON THE BMW CAMPUS. ***
Pay Rate:
- $16/hr.
- Position is a 1 st shift. The hours are Monday - Friday from 5am - 1:30pm with possibility of OT. You will be eligible to be hired on by the company at 60 days.
- Must be able to lift, twist, turn, lifting would be less than 50 pounds and nothing overhead (they use forklift)
- Must be able to stand on concrete floors, as very little of the work is sitting down. Must be able to squat, push, pull, bend over at the waist.
- Sit-down forklift experience is required.
- Job is located inside and is climate controlled, but there could be times where you may have to work outside.
- Candidate must have some mechanical ability, including being able to use hand tools.
- Must be able to read, write, and understand instructions, must know, and understand English
- Must wear steel-toed shoes. The company provides other PPE, i.e., glasses, vests, etc.
- Would be working in several areas, including the client's plastic repair area, but could also be used in our hot work room (welding, cutting, grinding), as well as rack washing (pressure washing). The majority of the duties in the beginning will be rack washing using a pressure washer.
