Senior Industrial Engineer

The Senior Industrial Engineer will lead and support manufacturing optimization initiatives, focusing on process improvement, facility utilization, and operational efficiency. This role involves working independently on projects of diverse scope while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to drive productivity, cost reduction, and continuous improvement within the plant environment.

• Leads projects or processes of diverse scope, while working independently with limited supervision
• Coaches and reviews the work of lower level professionals
• Supports continuous improvement/automation activities
• Establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel
• Conducts cost/inventory/production control and human factors studies to develop and implement plans for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods
• Assists manufacturing plant/facilities engineers with facility planning and design
• Supports relationships through strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of relevant industrial/manufacturing engineering experience
  (OR 3+ years with Master’s OR PhD without experience)
• Strong experience in:

  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments

Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience
