2nd Shift Fabrication Operator

Job Purpose

Must be qualified to set up and operate a combination of the following machinery:
Accurpress Brake Press, Shear, Stencil & Laser fabricated sheet metal parts to specified dimensional tolerances.

Other duties may be assigned. Inspect parts for defects from previous operations.

The employee must be able to satisfactorily perform all duties and responsibilities referenced in the work instructions for the piece of equipment being operated.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

High School diploma or general education degree (GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training); or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Must have ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but unchallenging written or oral instructions. Employee must have the ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
