BMW Plant Spartanburg is the company’s only U.S. manufacturing plant and produces the BMW X3, X4, X5, X6, and X7 Sports Activity Vehicles and Coupes for distribution to more than 140 markets worldwide.
Benefits- Starting pay is $23.58 per hour for day shift and $24.83 per hour for night shift

- Day Shift hours are 7:00 am – 5:40 pm
- Night Shift hours are 7:30 pm – 6:10 am
- During training you work 5 shifts that are 8 hours a day for 2 weeks
- Once training is complete you work 4 shifts that are 10 hours a day each week
- Picking up overtime shifts is allowed and encouraged.
- Produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies
- Position parts and subassemblies using templates or reading measurements
- Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies
- Verify adequate materials and supplies are available to complete operations as needed
- Adjust machine for changeovers, different functions, or other varying production needs
- Spend up to 10 hours a day in a stationary position on the ergonomically enhanced assembly line
- Clean and maintain work area and equipment, including tools
- Conduct quality control checks periodically and maintain quality standards
- Must be able to work in a fast‑paced environment and demonstrate problem‑solving and multitasking skills
- Must be able to maintain a stationary position during a shift
- Must be able to shift between upright and low stances as required
- Must be able to reach overhead as necessary
- Must be able to operate machinery to perform job functions
- Must be able to move and transport up to 50 lbs unassisted
- 1 year of production, manufacturing, or assembly experience or other applicable experience
- High school diploma or GED
