Quarry Manager

Industry: Aggregates / Hard Rock Quarrying

Compensation: Approx. $100K–$140K base + bonus + vehicle + benefits

I’m working with an established construction materials business seeking a Quarry Manager to lead a profitable midsized granite hard rock quarry in Upstate South Carolina.

The site produces approx. 500,000 tons annually, generates around $10M–$12M revenue, and has roughly 15 employees onsite. The operation supplies both internal asphalt / HMA plants and external commercial aggregate customers.

• Lead day-to-day quarry operations, safety, production, maintenance coordination, and profitability.
• Oversee drill, blast, excavation, crushing, screening, stockpiling, and loadout.
• Manage and develop a team of approx. 15 employees.
• Take ownership of P&L, cost control, production efficiency, and site performance.
• Support supply into internal HMA plants and external aggregate sales.
• Maintain a strong safety-first culture and MSHA compliance.

• 5–15 years of quarry / aggregate operations experience.
• Hard rock quarry experience required.
• Drill and blast experience required.
• Crushing experience required, ideally jaw and cone circuits.
• Prior Quarry Manager or strong Assistant Quarry Manager experience.
• Comfortable leading a midsized operation rather than a major mega-site.
• Strong communicator with maturity, accountability, and safety leadership.

• Base salary approx. $100K–$140K
