Responsibilities

As a TIG Welder, you will:

• Perform TIG welding on fabricated metal products while meeting quality and production standards.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet specifications before submitting for final inspection.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
• Meet daily production schedules and assigned deadlines.
• Operate shop equipment, hand tools, rollers, and inspection gauges.
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper fluid levels.
• Return fixtures and tooling after each job is completed.
• Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency and communicate suggestions to leadership.
• Troubleshoot basic manufacturing issues and escalate concerns when needed.
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications

• Experience operating TIG welding equipment required.
• MIG welding knowledge preferred.
• Ability to weld thin-gauge materials with strong penetration and a quality finish.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing drawings.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Experience using hand tools and precision measuring/inspection equipment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining quality standards.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Experience

• 0–5+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Previous TIG welding experience required.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment where PPE is required.
