1st Shift: Monday – Thursday, 4:30 AM – 3:00 PM | 2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday, 2:45 PM – 1:15 AM | Overtime as Needed
Job Summary:
Allegiance Staffing is seeking experienced Packaging Machine Operators for a high-volume foam board insulation manufacturing facility in Greer, SC. The ideal candidate has previous machine operating experience, a stable work history, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. This role is responsible for operating packaging equipment, maintaining production flow, and supporting multiple production areas in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position requires working in a non-climate-controlled facility with high heat, dust, and fiberglass exposure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate packaging machinery efficiently to meet daily production goals
- Off-load, stack, and prepare finished products for shipment
- Maintain consistent production flow while meeting quality standards
- Perform routine equipment monitoring and report mechanical issues as needed
- Cross-train and assist in multiple production areas as required
- Operate a forklift when necessary (if qualified)
- Follow all company safety policies and standard operating procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout each shift
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure efficient production
Required Qualifications:
- Previous machine operator experience in a manufacturing environment required
- Stable work history (2–3 years per employer preferred within the last five years)
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds throughout the shift
- Ability to work in a hot, dusty, non-climate-controlled environment with fiberglass exposure
- Willingness to cross-train in multiple production departments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Preferred Qualifications:
- Forklift operating experience
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing or packaging operations
- Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
