hydrauliccylinders, rods, pistons, glands, precision machining, repair machining, andrework

Pay
Competitive hourly pay (based on experience)
Top pay for strong manual machinists who can hold tolerances and work independently.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Set upand operate manual engine lathes and manual mills (Bridgeport-style)
- Machine and repair hydraulic cylinder components (rods, pistons, glands,sleeves, etc.)
- Measure and hold tolerances using micrometers, calipers, indicators, boregauges
- Readand work from prints, sketches, and dimensions
- Performrepair-style machining:
fit-up, rework, salvage, and precisioncorrection - Maintain clean, safe work habits in a production/repair environment
Requirements
- Manualmachining experience required (lathe + mill)
- Strongmeasuring skills and tolerance awareness
- Abilityto read prints / interpret dimensions
- Mechanicalmindset (repair work, not just repetitive parts)
- Reliable attendance (the team depends on you)
- Driver’slicense + reliable transportation
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience with hydraulic cylinder repair/remanufacturing
- Experiencemachining large parts / heavy industrial components
- Background in shops doing repair work, not just production runs
