Machinist

Job Summary

Seeking full time Machinist for an Aviation Company to operate Manual and/or CNC Machines. This is a first shift, Monday - Friday position. Must be able to interpret drawings, setup machines and hold high tolerances. 3 years experience required. Machinist certificate and aviation experience a plus.

• Interpret Aircraft Manual drawings and repair procedures.
• Set up tools, fixtures and machines for each part being repaired with minimal supervision.
• Able to make tool and work offsets with each new part being repaired or manufactured.
• Be able to read and interpret measuring tools such as OD Micrometer's,  Micrometers, Calipers, Dial indicators, Height Gages, Gage Blocks and Depth Micrometers.
• Ability to navigate Mastercam CAD / CAM software or other similar CAD / CAM software.
• Deburr parts with attention to detail.
• Produce final dimensional requirements of parts being machined.
• Maintain clean and organized work area.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines.
• Have strong verbal communication skills and works well with other employees.
