The Carolina Center for Behavioral Health is currently hiring registered nurses to join our team of dedicated professionals.
Responsibilities- Provide primary care coordination for patients and implement a collaborative care plan as prescribed by the physician and treatment team.
- Administer patient medications prescribed by physician.
- Complete nursing assessment, update treatment care plans, and participate in treatment planning.
- Help maintain the therapeutic milieu on the unit, including, but not limited to, facilitation of community meetings.
- Maintain patient, program, department and related documentation.
- Effectively manage psychiatric crisis emergency situations.
The Carolina Center for Behavioral Health is a 156‑bed private behavioral health system located on 13 acres in the Greenville, South Carolina area. We specialize in psychiatric programs and substance abuse treatments such as detox and rehab, serving Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, and areas throughout South Carolina and western North Carolina.

- Education: ADN or BSN in nursing from an accredited School of Nursing required.
- License: South Carolina registered nurse license with current registration required. Multi‑state license with South Carolina included in the compact is also acceptable.
- Experience: Zero‑one (0‑1) year of experience required. Two‑three years of related experience preferred. Experience with psychiatric patient care techniques and understanding of mental illness preferred.
- Additional Requirements: Aggressive Behavior Training (HWC) before unit orientation and prior to assisting with restraining procedures. Certification through American Red Cross or American Heart Association for CPR prior to independent patient assignment.
- Work Hours: Monday–Friday 8–5 pm.
- Machines, Tools, & Equipment: Telephone, blood pressure cuff, vitals machine, computer, copy machine, first aid items, and shredder.
