Nurse Practitioner - Hospitalists - Day Shift

McLeod Regional Medical Center is seeking a Day Shift Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner

• A valid SC RN License as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) verified by the LLR.
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner by an approved accrediting agency.
• Prescriptive privileges or eligibility to apply.

• Maintain a professional image and exhibit excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
• Assist providers in assessing patients' needs based on data collected from the electronic medical record, floor nursing staff, and other MRMC staff involved in care delivery.
• Perform physical exams within prescribed guidelines and physician instructions.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient clinical problems and healthcare needs.
• Record physical findings, formulate a care plan, and discuss cases with physicians to provide a comprehensive patient care plan.
• Speak with patients and families to address concerns when requested.
• Maintain professional clinical knowledge required for licensure and complete required training according to the deadline.
