Responsibilities
Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) provide patient care in a behavioral health setting, participating in treatment planning, monitoring progress, and communicating with the treatment team, patients, and families. They assist with discharge planning, supervise therapeutic activities, and maintain documentation. LPNs help ensure a safe, therapeutic environment, assist with dietary needs, administer medications, and manage psychiatric crises effectively.
Qualifications- Completion of an accredited LPN program
- Current South Carolina LPN license (multi-state license acceptable)
- CPR training provided
- New graduates encouraged to apply with mentorship and orientation available
- Empathetic, attentive, and emotionally intelligent
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to handle crises calmly and professionally
