Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Telemetry

Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for Medical Surgical/Telemetry (MS/Tele) unit to provide excellent patient care and support healthcare operations. The role involves managing acute patient needs within a fast-paced environment, ensuring compliance with safety and clinical standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs, rhythms, and respond to arrhythmia and medication tests.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and discharge planning.
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in electronic health records.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including fit testing requirements and competency assessments.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license; pending license accepted with active progress toward licensure.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry setting.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIH, and CPIO.
• Ability to pass arrhythmia and medication tests on first day of orientation.
• Must be able to pass fit testing procedures, including shaving if required.
• Willingness to work night shifts (3x12 hours) and accommodate required scheduling.
