Quality Assurance Technician – Greer, SC

Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour. Shift: 7:45 PM – 8:00 AM (2‑2‑3 schedule).

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform in-process, first-piece, visual, dimensional, and functional inspections to ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
  • Utilize and maintain proficiency with quality inspection and metrology equipment, including measuring instruments and OGP systems, to verify dimensional accuracy.
  • Document inspection results, batch records, and sampling data to maintain compliance with customer requirements, ISO-based QMS, and internal quality standards.
  • Apply statistical process control (SPC) techniques to monitor production trends, identify nonconformances, and support data-driven decision making.
  • Determine material status and authorize product release based on inspection results and verification processes.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and process engineering teams to inspect new molds, troubleshoot defects, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Assist in training quality and production personnel on blueprint reading, defect identification, inspection procedures, and proper use of precision measuring tools.
  • Support daily Quality Lab operations, ensuring documentation accuracy, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Communicate quality findings internally and externally, maintaining strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Promote workplace safety, adhere to company policies, and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a batching or quality assurance technician.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in accurate, clean work.
  • Physical ability to move, lift, and stand during the shift.
  • Team-first attitude and commitment to quality.
