As a NAPA Counter Sales associate, you are the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person for customers' automotive needs. You don’t need to be able to tear down engines—though that’s a plus—but a background in automotive parts is important.

• Providing auto parts answers and solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone
• Assisting team members with customer questions using your parts knowledge
• Delivering outstanding customer service and interactions
• Maintaining a customer-focused, energetic environment in our fast-paced stores
• Welcoming customers and creating a positive shopping experience
• Using technology such as computers, cash registers, telephones, and catalogs

• Enjoy helping customers with auto parts and service questions
• Have experience in the automotive industry or enjoy tinkering with cars and trucks
• Are willing to learn about automotive parts if you don’t already know
• Want to grow your career within a supportive team environment

• Valid Driver’s License
• Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn
• High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade school courses are a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment
• Good listening skills and empathy for customers

• Passion for automotive or related industries
• Experience in auto body, collision, or retail stores
• Knowledge of cataloging and inventory systems
• Customer-centric mindset
• ASE Certifications
