What You'll Do- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity according to site guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity for employees, contractors, visitors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
- Support daily operations by communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal personnel regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or conditions that may impact security-related operations.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
