Responsibilities
Under general supervision of the Chief of Public Safety, provides general security for the campus including controlling vehicular and pedestrian access at security gates; checking and verifying college issued identification credentials for faculty, staff, and students and driver’s license or other acceptable identification for all visitors; logging required information and providing general guidance for all visitors entering the campus; opening and closing buildings;
and maintaining general awareness of security and safety on the campus.
- Enforces the rules and regulations as a Parking Enforcement Officer for the College.
- Patrols parking areas and tickets any vehicles that violate established rules and regulations.
- Assists in directing traffic and reporting violations to the Chief of Public Safety.
- Other security and safety duties as assigned.
High school diploma and one (1) year of security experience.
