When you join our team, you will become involved in supporting or delivering some of the biggest and most complex machinery installation and relocation projects in the world. Position Summary of Primary Functions:The Millwright Superintendent manages Millwright crews on large-scale projects and maintains communication with clients and project coordinators. They are responsible for overseeing daily job site operations, ensuring that the company, employee, and customer needs are met. The superintendent utilizes available resources efficiently, while prioritizing safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in all aspects of the project.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Direct and manage millwright crews, making sure work is completed on time, within budget, and in line with the project’s objectives.
- Delegate jobs to millwrights based on their strengths and skill sets, ensuring the most efficient use of the team.
- Work closely with electrical, piping, and rigging teams to ensure all aspects of the project are in sync and running smoothly.
- Oversee the delivery and distribution of project materials, making sure everything arrives on time and is where it needs to be.
- Regularly inspect the work done by the crews, making sure it meets the company’s quality standards and the project's specifications.
- Help lead installations by interpreting blueprints and schematics, ensuring everything is assembled correctly.
- Quickly identify and resolve mechanical issues as they arise on-site, minimizing delays and keeping the project moving forward.
- Recognize potential safety risks and strictly enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
- Keep project managers updated on the progress of the job, highlighting milestones, and flagging any issues or incidents that may impact the timeline.
- Developing and managing detailed work schedules for crews to ensure tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- While not the main point of contact, maintaining relationships with clients through regular communication, addressing any concerns or changes, and ensuring their expectations are met.
- Anticipating future resource needs, including manpower and equipment, and coordinating procurement to prevent delays.
- Conducting performance evaluations for millwright crew members, providing feedback, and addressing any performance issues
- 30-hour Construction OSHA required.
- NCCER is preferred but not required.
- 4+ years of experience in a Millwright Supervision role is required.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience as a Millwright is required.
- Experience with heavy equipment installation and removal in Autostore or EV battery settings is highly desirable.
- Rigging Experience preferred but not required.
- Advanced Mechanical Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of machinery, equipment installation, and mechanical systems. - Precision Installation

Extensive experience with the precise installation, alignment, and assembly of machinery and mechanical systems. - Troubleshooting & Diagnostics:
