Maintenance Mechanical Technician

We are looking for a MAINTENANCE MECHANICAL TECHNCIAN to join our Newberry, FL location. As a Maintenance Mechanical Technician with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials you will work as part of a team to keep equipment running through maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.

• Preventative maintenance throughout the quarry and plant.
• Perform mechanical maintenance, fabrication, assembly, welding, and cutting.
• Perform disassembly, repair, rebuild, and reassembly of mechanical equipment and machinery.
• Bearing Installation
• Millwright skills
• Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance, including inspection, troubleshooting, and lubrication of equipment.
• Maintain safe work areas and operate mobile equipment as needed.

• A minimum of 1–year of mechanical maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Welding and fabrication experience.
• Experience operating mobile equipment (e.g., forklifts).
• Good organizational and math skills.
• Must be proficient in the English language
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in dusty environments and confined spaces.
