Cheeseman Transport is looking for an experienced Heavy Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our 2nd-shift team at our Greer, SC location.

Sunday - Thursday | 2:00 PM–10:30 PM

$23.00–$30.00 per hour
Pay is based on experience and skill level.

• Perform preventive maintenance on tractors and trailers
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and other equipment issues
• Perform DOT inspections and ensure equipment meets safety requirements
• Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, braking systems, suspension, steering, and other heavy-duty components
• Complete accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts used
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized shop
• Work as part of a team to keep equipment operating safely and reliably
• Take pride in quality workmanship and getting trucks safely back on the road

• Previous experience working on heavy-duty trucks, trailers, or diesel equipment preferred
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team
• CDL and/or additional certifications are a plus
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
