NX Automotive Logistics (NXAL) Operations Departments functions within a dynamic warehouse or manufacturing environment, where associates may encounter moderate levels of dust, dirt, and odors generated by packaging materials and propane-powered forklifts. Additionally, ambient noise from production equipment is a common aspect of the workplace. Temperature conditions fluctuate throughout the year. Associates are frequently required to operate computers, scanners, read, write, and engage in direct communication—both in person and through various digital and telecommunication platforms.

NX Automotive Logistics is looking for dispatcher to join our team!

• Schedule trailer movements (In/Out) in SAP to properly transfer empties from different locations via radio calls or dispatcher monitor screens.
• Ability to use radio to communicate clearly with internal locations and yard drivers.
• Communicate with other Dispatchers to schedule movements for empty trailers when applicable.
• Check available empty trailers in yard for RCDO Outbound.
• Identify full trailers for Wheel Trays and Greer and schedule moves in SAP accordingly.
• Support effective communication with leadership regarding trailer status.
• Monitor the yard to bring empty trailers to various locations from CFS “Container Freight Station”, or dunnage to another location.
• Assign loads (Bordero’s) to loaders.
• Complete loaded trailers in SAP. Change trailer status and identify what type of trailer is needed for future scheduled loads.
• Assign movements to yard switchers and check the availability of empty trailers in the yard.
• Systematically create PTA's “Premium Transportation Authorizations” and prepare documentation to fulfill orders, maintaining a log for reference.
• Receive and dispatch drivers picking up loaded Outbound trailers at the building.
• Print Bill of Ladings, properly stamp with BMW compliance stamp, validate that drivers properly sign, and the departure time is properly stamped.
• Verify emails, manage paperwork, scan and send carrier BOL's “Bill of Ladings”, maintain freight information and perform research as required.
• Monitor Outbound loading progress and support escalating issues related to trailer completing, available trailers, etc..
• Assist in communicating effectively with management, associates, drivers, carriers, and customers.
• Perform all known functions necessary to meet customer requirements and avoid KPI Impacts.
• Follow all company policies, maintain company compliance, follow work instructions, and participate in all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties in or out of the department as needed and as directed by the management team.
• This position will require transferring within different locations (Inbound/Outbound).
• Ability to work flexible hours and or shifts to accommodate business needs.

• Previous Dispatcher Coordinator experience is preferred.
• Possess knowledge of warehousing and transportation functions.
• Must have timely and effective communication skills to communicate with management, associates, drivers/carriers, and customers.
• Microsoft Office proficient, intermediate computer skills. Knowledge of SAP and YSP “Yard Management System” is preferable.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and verbal/written communication skills.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Flexible to perform other job functions. Work additional hours, if necessary, to complete daily tasks and meet customer/business needs and demands.
